That is the basic approach here. Richotti.com uses a small amount of information to run the contact form, send requested updates and understand whether the site is working properly.
If you join updates, I use the email address you provide to send new writing, The Two Shot Method developments, book information and other updates connected to this site.
Email subscriptions are processed through Resend, the email service used by Richotti.com. That means Resend processes the email address and subscription information needed to manage the list and deliver messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.
If you use the contact form, the site processes the name, email address, optional organization, inquiry category and message you provide so I can receive and respond to your inquiry. Contact-form email delivery is also handled through Resend.
Please do not send confidential protective, medical, financial or other highly sensitive information through the public form. Email and public website forms are useful tools; they are not secure case-management systems.
Richotti.com is hosted on Vercel. The site also uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate site use and performance—things like whether pages are being visited and whether they load well.
The site does not use advertising trackers or build a commercial advertising profile from your visit.
If you want to ask what personal information connected to this site is being held, correct something you previously submitted, or request deletion where appropriate, email info@richotti.com. Give enough context to identify the relevant submission or subscription, but do not send sensitive identifying documents unless they are actually needed.
If something here is unclear, ask. Privacy pages are not improved by making ordinary information harder to understand.
