Richotti.com uses a limited amount of information to run the contact form, confirm and send requested updates, prevent automated abuse, understand how the site is used and improve its performance.
If you submit an email address for updates, the site first sends a confirmation link. The address is added or reactivated for Richotti.com Updates only after that link is confirmed.
Email delivery and subscription management use Resend. Resend processes the email address and subscription information needed to send the confirmation, manage the list and deliver requested updates. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time.
If you use the contact form, the site processes the name, email address, optional organization, inquiry category and message you provide so I can receive and respond to your inquiry. Contact-form email delivery is handled through Resend.
Please do not send confidential protective, medical, financial or other highly sensitive information through the public form.
The contact and updates forms use Vercel BotID along with validation, timing and honeypot checks to distinguish ordinary form use from automated abuse. BotID processes browser and request signals needed to make that determination.
Richotti.com is hosted on Vercel. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand page visits, engagement, referral and campaign sources, device and browser categories, site actions, reading behavior on published writing, and whether pages load well.
For site-wide measurement, Richotti.com also records approximate network-derived location when Vercel supplies it. That can include country, region, city, postal code and latitude and longitude rounded to roughly neighborhood scale, together with the page being viewed and limited referral or campaign information. The location comes from IP geolocation, not GPS, and it cannot establish that a visitor was at a particular street address or building.
Richotti.com does not request browser location permission for analytics and does not add a visitor's raw IP address to this custom location event. Vercel necessarily processes request information as the site's hosting and analytics provider. The site does not use advertising trackers or build a commercial advertising profile from your visit.
